Kaiten nage, consists of the search for a lateral imbalance, helped by two points, the hand or wrist of Uke and his neck, leading him to fall forward. In the “classic shape” the projection is executed by carrying Uke’s arm on his back in the most vertical way possible while maintaining the lateral imbalance using the other point of the neck and the direction of rotation.
Kaiten Nage is usually executed in 2 ways (Soto or Uchi) that consist of passing under Uke’s arm (Uchi) or outside (Soto) during the construction phase of the imbalance.
