Irimi nage, consists of a projection with a Uke fall in which, by means of a penetrating entrance with the body and being helped by the classic arm stroke involving uke’s neck (or directly on his chin), we get a lateral imbalance towards the back of the attacker that causes, in general, a fall backwards (or a lateral flip fall if the manoeuvre is more fluid).
